With loom's signature contemporary and multiculturalism twist, we focus our inspiration this month on the southeastern region of Europe known as the Balkans. From giant gypsy-fied blasts of rhythmic brass & pattering drums, this is hands-in-the-air and chaotic catalyst dance floor music. We'll explore electronic infused Balkan brass, Gypsy swing, instrumental Klezmer with hints of traditional elements, remixed classics and whole new interpretations of the music. And since the Balkan region was a crossroads between the Western World and Asia, you'll hear a whole multicultural melting pot of progressive rhythms combining new and old.
