Since the loom co-founders will both be out of the country on the first-Thursday of the month, we're doing a special Saturday night loom on October 15th. And since it falls on the born-day of the great Fela Anikulapo Kuti, we decided a tribute to the father of Afrobeat was in proper order.

On this journey of Afrobeat, Afrohouse and West African rhythms, we're joined by one of Kansas City's most dynamic and crowd rousing DJs, Brent Tactic.
