█▓▒░ I have a dream . . . ░▒▓█
Join us in our annual tribute to Martin Luther King Jr. as we bring to life his socially-binding vision through dance and celebration. Music selections by loom co-creator, Brent Crampton plus an early evening poetry performance by Love's Jazz & Art Center's Administrative Director, Michelle Troxclair alongside Felicia Webster and Christine Loehr.MLK is America's peaceful racial integrationist icon. The proponent of "content of character over the color of skin." The figure that integrated Mahatma Gandhi’s civil disobedience through non-violence into the West. Martin Luther King, Jr. serves as an idealist, an activist and a past, present and future leader of social progress and justice. On this loom, we pay homage to the man that rose up in America's history at a pivotal time, lead millions to be of one mind, one voice - and changed a nation, and subsequently the world, in his march for freedom.
